I’m pissed!

And it starts, sometime around midnight.
Or at least that’s when you lose yourself
for a minute or two.
As you stand, under the bar lights.
And the band plays some song
about forgetting yourself for a while.
And the piano’s ths melancoly soundtrack to her smile.
And that white dress she’s wearing
you haven’t seen her for a while.

But you know, that she’s watching.
She’s laughing, she’s turning.
She’s holding her tonic like a crux.
The room’s suddenly spinning.
She walks up and asks how you are.
So you can smell her perfume.
You can see her lying naked in your arms.

And so there’s a change, in your emotions.
And all these memories come rushing
like feral waves to your mind.
Of the curl of your bodies,
like two perfect circles entwined.
And you feel hopeless and homeless
and lost in the haze of the wine.

Then she leaves, with someone you don’t know.
But she makes sure you saw her.
She looks right at you and bolts.
As she walks out the door,
your blood boiling
your stomach in ropes.

“What is it? You look like you’ve seen a ghost.”

Bem, definitivamente o tabaco é um vício horrível… no entanto, acho que não sou tão radical como o  Hayden.
Se bem que, depois de ver a Carrie pegar num cigarro directamente de uma sarjeta nova-iorquina e mete-lo na boca… bem, speaks for itself…

Quanto a beijar pessoas que fumam… mmm, é difícil. Já tive experiências contraditórias. Já beijei pessoas que fumam que tinham um hálito horrível a tabaco, o que as tornou imediatamente pessoas “inbeijaveis” no que me diz respeito. Mas também já beijei pessoas que fumam e que, mesmo mantendo-se o sabor do cigarro na boca dessa pessoa, não foi de todo desagradável. Será que isso varia com a marca do tabaco? I wouldn’t know…

Depois há a questão de ser capaz ou não de deixar de fumar por outra pessoa. Para mim a resposta é óbvia, não há cigarro que valha a possibilidade de um bom relacionamento afectivo. Then again, eu não sou viciado em tabaco, logo é-me dificil perceber até que ponto se está disposto a desistir de algo para se poder manter o vício…

Mais um episódio no qual me identifico bastante com muito do que passa pela cabeça da Carrie.

A Carrie mete-se em mais do que aquilo com que contava e tenta assimilar a situação da melhor forma que consegue. No final, o todo acaba por ser maior e mais diferente do que aquilo que o qual ela consegue lidar.

A bissexualidade existe? Teoricamente existe. Na prática… sinceramente não sei. Help?
A única forma como consigo conceber a bissexualidade é como fase de transição para outra coisa qualquer… Ou seja, alguém é, define-se, é visto como, bissexual em determinado momento. No entanto, na minha perspectiva, quando essa pessoa se envolve numa relação com uma outra pessoa passa a ser homossexual ou heterossexual dependendo do sexo da outra pessoa. Parece-me que mais tarde ou mais cedo esse alguém bissexual acaba por evolver-se única e exclusivamente com pessoas de determinado sexo deixando de ser portanto, segundo o meu ponto de vista, bissexual.
No que me diz respeito, nunca conheci ninguém que se dissesse bissexual que acabasse por assumir um relacionamento e/ou estilo de vida heterossexual, sendo que sempre acabaram por “assentar” em relacionamentos homossexuais.
Será a (suposta) bissexualidade uma fase de transição para a homossexualidade? Estarei enganado? Alguém me consegue convencer do contrário?
